Acacia Roofing & Construction
Rachel Marbury
Ten years inside the insurance world gave Rachel something incredibly valuable: an understanding of the process homeowners are suddenly expected to navigate when something happens to their home.
Insurance Meets Roofing.
Meet the Translator.
If roofing and insurance had a
translator,
a pit bull,
and a best friend
all rolled into one—
that would be Rachel Marbury.
The Translator
Insurance terminology doesn’t help a homeowner if nobody explains what it actually means. Rachel turns industry language into conversations real people can understand.
The Advocate
When documentation, estimates, or details don’t appear to line up, Rachel knows the questions to ask and helps homeowners understand what deserves another look.
The Human
Claims and construction can be stressful enough. Rachel believes you should have someone who answers questions, laughs with you, and treats you like a person—not a file number.
She’s Seen How Claims
Actually Work.
Rachel brings 10 years of hands-on experience in the insurance field , working directly with homeowners and their claims.
She’s seen confusing policies, lengthy processes, questions over estimates and scope, and homeowners left wondering what just happened—or what they’re supposed to do next.
After a decade inside insurance, Rachel understands the language, timelines, documentation, and process most homeowners don’t have a reason to think about until they suddenly need it.
And perhaps most importantly? She knows how to explain it in plain English.
Bringing Insurance Experience
to the Contractor Side.
Rachel was brought onto Acacia Roofing & Construction for a very specific reason—to bring the knowledge she gained during a decade in insurance directly to Acacia homeowners.
Her role is to educate homeowners, help them understand the process, assist with documentation and communication, and help make sure important details aren’t simply lost in the shuffle.
Roofing contractors understand construction. Insurance carriers understand policies and claims. Homeowners can sometimes find themselves caught somewhere in between.
Rachel helps make that middle ground a whole lot easier to understand.
“My job isn’t to throw more industry language at homeowners. It’s to help them understand what they’re looking at, what questions to ask, and what happens next.”
— Rachel
The Bridge Between
Insurance & Construction.
Rachel understands how an insurance claim moves, how contractors document their work, and—most importantly—how overwhelming the entire process can feel when it’s your home in the middle of it.
Her goal isn’t to make decisions for homeowners. It’s to make sure they have enough information to make informed decisions for themselves.
Knowledge Is Great.
Using It to Help People Is Better.
Educate
Explain the process, terminology, documents, and next steps in language homeowners can actually understand.
Document
Help make sure relevant property information and contractor documentation are organized and communicated clearly.
Communicate
Keep homeowners informed and help reduce the uncertainty that can come with a roofing project or insurance claim.
Advocate
Ask questions, identify discrepancies worth discussing, and help homeowners understand their available next steps.
Audrey.
Isaiah.
Family Is
Everything.
Rachel is married to Ian—her built-in hype man, partner in life, and teammate through all the beautiful chaos that comes with raising a family and chasing big goals.
Together they’re raising two pretty incredible kids: Audrey, 10, sharp, spirited, and already keeping everybody on their toes, and Isaiah, who at one year old has somehow become upper management of the entire household.
He has no title. He still runs the place.
Family is everything to Rachel. It’s also a big part of why she cares so deeply about the families Acacia serves.
To her, a damaged roof or stressful claim isn’t simply paperwork. There’s a real family on the other side of it trying to protect their home.
Honest. Direct.
Refreshingly Human.
Rachel will laugh with you, walk you through the complicated stuff, answer the question you think might sound silly, and tell you when something deserves a closer look.
She believes homeowners deserve clear information, honest communication, and someone willing to stay engaged when the process gets complicated.
Faith. Family.
Coffee. Chaos.
Outside of work, Rachel is faith-driven, family-focused, and usually balancing approximately seventeen things at the same time.
Between being a wife, raising Audrey and Isaiah, family activities, community involvement, and whatever life decides to throw onto the calendar next, there’s rarely a dull moment.
She’s fueled by coffee, a little bit of chaos, and a deep belief that people deserve to be treated well— especially when they’re going through something stressful.
